USB Serial Port Requirement: WorldStation™ requires a real serial port or the Keyspan USA-19HS High-Speed USB to serial adapter. The Keyspan (Tripp Lite) adapter is considered the "gold standard" among all USB to serial adapters and has Microsoft certified drivers. It is available on eBay (or any major e-commerce site) for around $30. Although Ten-Tec supplies a USB serial adapter with their radio, it has not proven to be 100% reliable for use with our software. Any USB serial adpater already installed on your PC may or may not work with our software. The Keyspan works flawlessly.
